Riccardo Gusmaroli (b. 1963, Verona, Italy) started his artistic activity as a photographer working with Studio Azzurro until his first solo exhibition in 1992 at Galleria Toselli in Milan. In 1998 he exhibited at Galleria Cà di Frà in Milan with Damien Hirst and Tano Festa.
His work is a playful combining of monochromatic themes that include paperboats and planes drawing concentric vortices.
Among the collections, Viafarini in Milan, with Accardi and De Maria, Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Turin, Galleria Sperone New York. In 2009, the collective "Maps" came up with Boetti, Fabro, Pizzi Cannella and Salvo at Galerie Di Meo, Paris. In 2015 he participated in "Rigorismo" with Bonalumi, Dadamaino, Simeti and Pinelli at the UNIX Gallery and the Italian Cultural Institute in New York.
